New Stay at Home Advisory, Rules:
Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced new protections for Michigan residents from the COVID-19 pandemic. The order goes into effect on Wednesday, November 18 and lasts for three weeks. High schools and colleges will be closed to in-person learning, as will group activities like group fitness classes, bingo halls, bowling centers, theaters, restaurants, bars and more. Healthcare Coverage may be available to Michiganders who lose their job or experience a drop in income due to COVID-19. Visit healthcare.gov for information on how to apply.
The Michigan Health Insurance Consumer Assistance Program (HICAP) can provide shopping tips and help answer questions about health insurance or Special Enrollment Periods.
