SEIU Local 1 Presents: Doris M. Jones as the Member of the Month for March!

Local 1 conducted an exclusive interview with Indianapolis, Indiana Member Doris M. Jones as she reflects on her time as a union member.

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA- SEIU Local 1 is presenting Doris M. Jones as the Member of the Month for March! Doris is currently a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Tech for SBM at Eli Lilly, and in the afternoon she works as a teacher for an early childhood education center. A highlight of her time with Local 1 that Doris cherishes greatly is the contract negotiations of 2018/2019 - Local 1 members, leaders, and allies held the largest civil disobedience in Indianapolis history. Jones, a strong advocate for unions, believes that every worker has a voice that is capable of sparking positive change in the workplace!
