JANEE AYERS ENDORSEMENT SCREENING
On Wednesday, April 28, 2021, Local 1 political action committee members took action by hosting a virtual screening via Zoom with Detroit City Councilwoman-at-Large Janee’ Ayers. During this meeting members were able to ask questions about Ayer’s platform and plans to continue to support good, union jobs and a minimum $15 wage for hard working families in Detroit.

ABDULLAH HAMMOUD ENDORSEMENT SCREENING
On Friday, April 30, 2021, Political Action Committee members met virtually with State Representative Abdullah Hammoud, who is running for Mayor of Dearborn. During the screening, members questioned Hammoud on his platform and plans for supporting the needs of working people in Dearborn.
Local 1 represents nearly 2,000 working people across the state of Michigan, including many who live and work in the city of Dearborn.
