Election Volunteering Week 7, Oct 19 - Oct 25!

Here is a list of  volunteer events this week:

Event: SEIU for Biden Ohio Phone Bank
Date/Time: Tuesday, Oct 20th from 4:30 PM-6:30PM 
Description: SEIU members unite! Join Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, Senior Advisor for the Biden campaign Greg Schultz and SEIU EVP Neal Bisno for a virtual phone bank on Tuesday, 10/20 from 4:30-6:30 pm CST. We'll be calling Ohio voters to make sure they cast their ballot for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

Event: SEIU Local 1 Member to Member Phone Bank 
Date/Time: Thursday, Oct 22nd from 5:30 PM-7:30PM 
Description: Join us every Thursday until election day to make calls to Local 1 members encouraging them to vote for Joe Biden and the Illinois Fair Tax! To make calls you will need an internet connection, a phone and a laptop or tablet. We will begin at 5:30 PM CST.

Event: National Early Vote Rally and Phone Bank w Mary Kay Henry!
Date/Time: Saturday, Oct 24th from 12 PM-2:00 PM (repeating every Saturday) 
Description: Essential workers and union members are in motion across the country and are fired up to elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris this November. On the 24th we kick off the final GOTV period and note this important early vote day when almost every battleground state voter has the opportunity to vote [if they haven't already]! We'll be joined by guest speakers and will take some time to celebrate and then will act by helping to call 50,000 essential voters encouraging them to vote today too. Training provided.

Event: SEIU Local 1 Member to Member Fair Tax Phone Bank 
Date/Time: Saturday, OOct 24th from 1 PM- 3PM CST
Description:  Join us every Thursday until election day to make calls to Local 1 members encouraging them to vote for the Illinois Fair Tax! To make calls you will need an internet connection, a phone and a laptop or tablet.
We will begin at 1:00 PM CST.

Event: SEIU Latino Caucus Bilingual Phone Banks 
Date/Time: Saturday, Oct 24th at 10 AM- 12:00 PM CST
Description:  Join SEIU members this Saturday 10/24 at 10 AM CT as we talk to voters across the country to ensure we get Joe Biden and Kamala Harris elected in November. We will make calls to Spanish and English speaking voters. Every vote counts and every call made brings us closer to victory in November. In this virtual event, we will provide phone banking training and then we'll start making calls! We will have a facilitator to answer any questions for the duration of the phone bank.

Únete a miembros de SEIU este Sábado 10/24 para hacer llamadas apoyando a Joe Biden y a Kamala Harris. Haremos llamadas a votantes en inglés y en español. Cada voto cuenta y cada llamada nos acerca a la victoria en Noviembre. En éste evento virtual proveeremos un entrenamiento breve y después comenzaremos a hacer llamadas. Tendremos un facilitador durante todo el evento para contestar cualquier duda.
