Help Make a Child’s Christmas Special

Donate a Toy to Help a Janitors’ Child Celebrate Christmas As Pritchard Industries is Cutting Pay

What should be the happiest time of the year is a time of uncertainty for Houston janitors who work for Pritchard Industries.

Pritchard recently cut the pay of some workers to minimum wage, leaving them struggling to pay for basic necessities and provide a merry Christmas for their children.

Not only is Pritchard paying poverty wages, they’re holding up city-wide talks to improve the lives of 3,200 janitors and their families—effectively taking Christmas from the janitors’ children.

Imagine trying to prepare for the holidays when there’s no money left over after paying for basic expenses. Could you get by on just $12,000 a year?

Every child in Houston deserves a Christmas. Don’t let Pritchard take it away.
