Heberto Figueroa

In May, Heberto Figueroa and two vans of Local 1 members from Milwaukee traveled to Gary, IN to volunteer for the SEIU political program.

“This is the election year for all SEIU members volunteer.  I’ve never seen such excitement for a candidate,”  he said.
“It’s really important that we have our voices heard this year! Everyone gets training, you meet new people and you can bring your kids too.  It’s a good experience for them.  We can’t afford not to elect Barack Obama for President!”

Heberto has been a member since 2001. He was in the Heroes program for the election in 2004.  He has worked on Houston, Indianapolis, Minneapolis campaigns and is active in his home state of Wisconsin with SEIU Local 1.
