US Drug Plan
As a member of SEIU Local 1 you are eligible for the USA Drug Plan prescription drug discount card. The card, which can save on average 10% to 55% off brand name or generic medications, is free with no registration or activation. Just present the card at participating pharmacies nationwide such as CVS, Walgreens, Target, K-Mart and more.

Pet Drug Card
Local 1 pet owners can receive a pet drug card by contacting your union office. The pet card, which is accepted at most pharmacies nationwide, offers discounts on most medications for pets with savings from 10% to 85% depending on the medication. Aflac provides people with supplemental insurance money to use as they wish (for mortgage, rent, auto, groceries, medical bills, etc.) when a life disrupting event causes financial hardship. SEIU Local 1 members will be provided discounted rates for accident and catastrophic illness insurance programs. Coverage is available for spouses and children.

Seniors Ride Free Program (Chicagoland Area)
Sign up for a transit card for senior citizens to ride the RTA and CTA for free. Local 1 members and any family members aged 65 and older can apply for a senior citizens' reduced fare card to ride the CTA, Pace or Metra for free.
You can also visit a registration center by calling 836-7000 from any Illinois area code or go to www.rtachicago.com to locate the nearest registration site. Registration centers require a government issued picture identification that verifies your age. Some registration centers will take a photo, but may charge a fee. The RTA’s Customer Service Center does not charge for this service. The senior reduced fare card takes 3 – 4 weeks to process and will be mailed.
