SEIU Missouri State Council Celebrates Crystal Williams’ Victory in Democratic Primary

Williams will continue to be strong voice for working families on Jackson County Legislature  

KANSAS CITY – The following is a statement from SEIU janitor Virginia Vann regarding Jackson County Legislator Crystal Williams’ victory in today’s Democratic primary:

“The janitors, home care and healthcare providers, higher education faculty and state employees of SEIU are proud to stand with a Crystal Williams, who has been a strong fighter for working families as a Jackson County Legislator.

“Williams is a champion of women, consumers, the LGBTQ community, workers and the environment. She will keep up the fight to make Jackson County better for all working people.

“SEIU members will continue working with her to pass policies that put working families ahead of wealthy special interests.”
