Dozens of security officers, working Hoosiers to rally for good jobs for Indianapolis
Indianapolis, IN—Dozens of security officers, community leaders, and union members plan to rally outside the “Gold Building” at 151 N Delaware on Friday in support of good jobs for our city.
Security officers in Indianapolis protect lives and property in our city every day, but many still live below the poverty level with no access to affordable health care. Officers who work for security contractor Securatex are organizing the rally to call attention to the negative effects of low-wage, no-benefit jobs on our community. Securatex officers are paid as little as $7.25 an hour and have no access to affordable health care. A Securatex officer was recently removed from his post at the Gold Building, allegedly for trying to organize a union.

WHEN: 4:30 p.m., Friday, March 16th
